Apple’s upcoming flagship, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, is expected to launch in September 2025 and could be the top-end model of the iPhone 17 series. Ahead of its official debut, leaks suggest the phone may be priced around ₹1,64,990 in India – approximately ₹20,000 more than the launch price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max (₹1,44,900).

Why the price hike?

Industry sources suggest that factors like:

  • Ongoing US tariff uncertainties
  • Saturated demand in some global markets
    could be pushing prices up.

However, Apple’s growing investment in manufacturing and exports from India may help keep prices under control to some extent for Indian buyers.
